ARGO NAVIS ENGINEERS LTD successfully completed surveying and 3D laser scanning on board MT NCC SAFA, an 45471 DWT Bulk Carrier.
We have attended and performed an on-board inspection during vessel’s dry docking at Chengxi Shipyard, China in order to investigate the feasibility of installation of Ballast Water Treatment Systems.
During the inspection, we have performed a 3D laser scanning of all selected areas and in particular areas inside the WBTs No.4 P & S in the vicinity of the ballast pumps and overboard discharge pipes, the Upper Deck in the vicinity of ballast motors pumps, the Engine Room in the way of Fire, Bilge and General Service pumps, the Steering Gear Room and A Deck and B Deck Aft Area Port Side.
