ARGO NAVIS ENGINEERS LTD. successfully completed surveying and 3D laser scanning on board M/T SEABORN, a 105042 DWT Crude Oil Carrier.
We have attended and performed an on-board inspection during vessel’s stay at anchorage in Piraeus, Greece, in order to investigate the feasibility of installation of Ballast Water Treatment Systems.
During the inspection, we have also performed a 3D laser scanning of all selected areas and in particular Pump Room floor area, below and above lower gratings in the vicinity of the (2) Main Ballast Pumps, Pump Room Top, 3rd & 2nd Decks, Engine Room floor in the vicinity of the two (2) Fire, Bilge & G.S. Pumps and the routing of the pipe serving the APT, Engine Room 2nd & 3rd Decks and Steering Gear Room, Funnel “A” Deck and Main Deck, starboard side and Steering Gear Room.
