Survey and 3DLS on board MV MALMO

ARGO NAVIS ENGINEERS LTD. has completed a survey and 3D laser scanning on board MV MALMO, a 61414 DWT Bulk Carrier.

We have attended and performed an on-board inspection during vessel’s call in Setubal, Portugal to investigate the feasibility of installation of Ballast Water Treatment Systems.

During the inspection, we have performed a 3D laser scanning of all selected areas and, in particular, the Engine Room Area in the vicinity of the two Main Ballast Pumps, the Engine Room Platform Area (3rd Deck), the Steering Gear Room, the Main Deck Aft Area, in front of the accommodation superstructure and the C Deck Port & Starboard side in way of the Engine Casing.
