Survey and 3DLS on board HILWAH

ARGO NAVIS ENGINEERS LTD. has successfully completed survey and 3D laser scanning on board HILWAH, a 316808 DWT VLCC.

We have attended and performed an on-board inspection during sea passage to Brixham, UK to investigate the feasibility of installation of Ballast Water Treatment Systems.

During the inspection, we have performed a 3D laser scanning of all selected areas and, in particular, Pump Room 3rd, 2nd, 1st decks, the Pump Room tank top area, below and above lower gratings in the vicinity of the ballast pumps and ballast eductors, Engine Room floor, port side, in the way of Bilge, Fire and G/S pumps and the Steering Gear Room.
