Last December, ALFA LAVAL PureBallast 3.1 500 was installed, tested and commissioned on board Vehicles Carrier “MORNING CLASSIC”, during dry docking at COSCO ZHOUSAN Shipyard, China. The duration of installation, testing and commissioning was nine (9) days, marginally but successfully completed within the drydocking period.
ARGO NAVIS Marine Consulting & Engineering was responsible for the development of the retrofit design and drawings.
The BWTS has been installed and tested under DNVGL supervision who have also issued the related Statutory Certificate on behalf of the vessel’s flag.
This successful project was the result of structured work and successful coordination of all involved parties.
