ARGO NAVIS ENGINEERS LTD successfully completed surveying and 3D laser scanning on board ABQAIQ, a 302986 DWT VLCC Tanker.
We attended and performed an on-board inspection during vessel’s drydock in Dubai, UAE, to investigate the feasibility of installation of Ballast Water Treatment Systems.
During the inspection, we have performed a 3D laser scanning of all selected areas and, in particular, the Pump Room Floor Area, below and above lower gratings in the vicinity of the (2) Main Ballast Pumps, the Pump Room 4th, 3rd & 2nd Decks, the Engine Room Floor in the vicinity of the two (2) Fire, Bilge & G.S. Pumps and the pipe routing serving the APT, the Engine Room 3rd Deck and the Funnel D Deck.
