ARGO NAVIS ENGINEERS LTD successfully completed surveying and 3D laser scanning on board on board UBC CANADA, a 15053 DWT Cement Carrier.
We have attended and performed the on-board inspection during vessel’s call in Colombo, Sri Lanka, to investigate the feasibility of installation of Ballast Water Treatment Systems.
During the inspection, we have also performed a 3D laser scanning of all selected areas, in particular, the Engine Room Double Bottom Area in the vicinity of the Bilge / Ballast and Fire / Bilge and General Service Pumps, the Engine Room Platform Area, the Engine Room Tween Deck and Main Deck (E/R Casing, Funnel internally) Area as well as the Main Deck Aft Area Port & Starboard side.
